TOP DANCERS JOIN FORCES FOR CHARITY – WATCH FREE AT MMT
Drive over to Music Mountain Theatre for a free live screening of InterMission — a groundbreaking online production powered by 10 worldwide ballet stars who will join forces for the very first time to promote a common cause: supporting children in crisis.
Scheduled at 8pm EST on Thursday, December 10, the show will be projected outdoors at the MMT grounds in a “drive-in theater” area that can accommodate 25 vehicles. Early reservations are highly encouraged.
New Jersey-born principal ballerina Katherine Barkman, co-creator and executive producer of InterMission, will grace our open-air premiere night at MMT for a brief introduction to this unique fundraiser.
Presented in partnership with the global charity, Save the Children, InterMission will be streamed on YouTube to audiences all over the world at no cost, while providing viewers with secure and convenient opportunities for donating online – even from the comfort of your car!
Filmed safely on location across three continents, InterMission features breathtaking performances by principal dancers Daniel Ulbricht (New York City Ballet), Beckanne Sisk and Chase O’Connell (Ballet West), Julian MacKay (San Francisco Ballet), Katherine Barkman (The Washington Ballet), Lloyd Knight (Martha Graham Dance Company), Tess Voelker (Netherlands Dance Theater), InterMission founder and international guest principal Sebastian Vinet, dancer-choreographer Ernesto Zuñiga, and actress-dancer Juliet Doherty.
